*How can I host a show at my home? An event can be scheduled one to three months in advance. Currently events will only be held within one and a half hours driving distance from the designer (Rockingham, NC). It can be held in the hostess's home or any location of the hostess’s choice. Edna Liles (the designer) will bring her beautiful and unique collection of handcrafted jewelry items for you and your guests to enjoy and purchase. Please be sure to pick a date you feel very good about and know will work well. *Is there a Hosting Discount? Absolutely!! As a hostess, you automatically get a FREE handmade creation of your choice as thank you. There are also additional discounts for the hostess. Additional FREE creations and discounts will be based on the tier (amount of sales) of the show at the end of the event. Tier 1 show=$15 in Free Jewelry items and one item @ 50% off Tier 2 show=$35 in Free Jewelry items and two items @ 50% off Tier 3 show=$45 in Free Jewelry items and three items @ 50% off Tier 4 show=$55 in Free Jewelry items and four items @ 50% off Tier 5 show=$75 in Free Jewelry items and five items @ 50% off Tier 6 show=$150 in Free Jewelry items, one Free custom made item and six items @ 50% off *How many guests do I invite? A good number of guests to have attend is 10-15 serious shoppers. This keeps the atmosphere fun. It will also keep the focus on the the items. When inviting guests, keep in mind that typically, approximately 30% of your guests will cancel. It is suggested that you “over-invite” (example, invite about 30 guests). *What kind of set-up do I need? The more surface space you have in one room, the better. In the event that your space is small, don't worry. Edna will be there to make the most of the space that is provided. The hostess usually puts out light munchies and beverages; there isn't time for much else but shopping! *Does everyone have to be on-time? Yes, because this gives the hostess time to introduce Edna. It also gives Edna an opportunity to takes a few moments at the beginning of the showing to introduce her designs and to answer any questions your guests may have. The rest of the time can be spent on shopping, socializing and having fun! *What if I need to reschedule? Please give at least a one month notice. This is highly recommended and appreciated if you should need to reschedule.
